This policy explains what data the app collects, how it is used, and your rights.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. Data We Collect<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1.1 Location<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>What:<\/strong> GPS coordinates at the time you log a take, if you choose to attach a location.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>How it&#8217;s used:<\/strong> To tag your recordings with a location and to fetch local weather conditions (temperature, humidity, wind) from a public weather API at the time of logging.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>When:<\/strong> Only when you tap &#8220;Get Current Location&#8221; or &#8220;Set Location on Map&#8221; \u2014 never in the background.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stored:<\/strong> Locally on your device only.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1.2 Camera<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>What:<\/strong> Photos you take using the device camera.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>How it&#8217;s used:<\/strong> To attach a setup photo to a take (e.g. a photo of your microphone placement or rig).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stored:<\/strong> Locally on your device only, in the app&#8217;s private storage directory.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1.3 Photo Library<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>What:<\/strong> Photos you choose from your photo library.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>How it&#8217;s used:<\/strong> Same as above \u2014 to attach a setup photo to a take.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stored:<\/strong> A copy is saved locally in the app&#8217;s private storage. Your original photo library is not modified.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1.4 Take Metadata<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>What:<\/strong> Recording metadata you enter manually: take name, start\/stop time, track count, sample rate, bit depth, notes, UCS tags, and gear information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>How it&#8217;s used:<\/strong> To populate your take list and allow you to search, sort, filter, and review your recordings.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Stored:<\/strong> Locally on your device only using an on-device database.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">2. Data We Do NOT Collect<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>We do not collect your name, email address, or any account information.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We do not use analytics, crash reporting SDKs, or advertising SDKs.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We do not transmit any of your data to our servers.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We do not share any data with third parties.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>We do not track you across apps or websites.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. Third-Party Services<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Weather API<\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>When you attach a location to a take, the app sends the GPS coordinates and recording timestamp to a public weather API (Open-Meteo, openmeteo.com) to retrieve weather conditions. Open-Meteo is a free, open-source weather API that does not require an account and does not log personal data. See their privacy policy at <a href=\"https:\/\/open-meteo.com\">open-meteo.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>No other third-party services are used.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">4. Data Storage<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>All app data (takes, gear lists, settings, photos) is stored exclusively on your device in the app&#8217;s private sandbox. It is included in your standard iOS device backup (iCloud Backup or local iTunes\/Finder backup) and is deleted when you uninstall the app.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">5. Children&#8217;s Privacy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>FieldLog is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">6. Your Rights<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Access:<\/strong> All your data is visible in the app at all times.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Delete:<\/strong> Delete individual takes or all data by uninstalling the app.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Export:<\/strong> Use your device&#8217;s backup tools to back up or transfer your data.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">7. Changes to This Policy<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the &#8220;Last updated&#8221; date above.
